Describe the image

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr has announced the Starrgirl World Tour, a 20-date concert series that will take her music across Europe, the United Kingdom and North America in 2027. The tour will support her third studio album, Starrgirl, marking another major step in the singer’s expanding international career.

The announcement was made in October 2026, following a busy period for the Mavin Records artist, who has continued to build her global profile through new music, international performances and high-profile collaborations.

According to the tour announcement published by promoter Live Nation, the international run will begin on January 20, 2027, in Cologne, Germany, before moving through major European cities and later heading to the United States and Canada. The final listed performance is scheduled for April 14 in San Francisco, California.

Tour opens in Germany before European dates

The Starrgirl World Tour is scheduled to begin at Live Music Hall in Cologne on January 20. Ayra Starr will then travel to Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Zurich and Brussels before the European leg reaches London on February 2.

The planned stops give fans across several European markets an opportunity to experience the singer’s latest album alongside songs from her earlier catalogue. Her international audience has grown through tracks such as Rush, which helped establish her as one of the most recognisable contemporary voices in Afrobeats.

After the European dates, the tour will resume in North America on March 18 with a concert at House of Blues in Houston, Texas. Dallas follows on March 19, with additional stops planned in Atlanta, Silver Spring, Boston, Philadelphia and Brooklyn.

The schedule also includes Canadian performances in Toronto and Montreal, followed by concerts in Chicago, Minneapolis and Denver. San Francisco is scheduled to host the tour’s final show on April 14.

The announcement gives fans advance notice to plan for the concerts, although ticket availability and venue details should be checked through official ticketing channels.

Starrgirl takes centre stage

The tour is named after Ayra Starr’s third studio album, Starrgirl, released on August 14, 2026, through Mavin Records and Republic Records. The 16-track project features collaborations with international and African artists, including ZAYN, Leon Thomas, Wizkid, Rema, kwn, Danny Ocean and Theodora.

The album’s release represents a new chapter in the singer’s musical journey, building on the success of earlier projects and her growing presence in international pop and Afrobeats.

Live Nation reported that Starrgirl debuted at No. 2 on Spotify’s Global Top Albums Chart, recording 3.9 million streams during its first full day globally. The performance points to the international audience the singer is seeking to reach through the upcoming concerts.

For fans, the tour offers a chance to hear the new material in a live setting while revisiting earlier favourites. The final setlists have not been confirmed, so the exact songs to be performed at each concert remain unknown.

A milestone after her NFL halftime performance

The tour announcement came shortly after Ayra Starr performed at the NFL International Game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on October 11, 2026. She performed during the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars matchup, delivering songs including Heaven Baby, Rush and Hot Body.

The appearance drew attention because it placed a Nigerian Afrobeats performer before an international sporting audience. It also added to a year of significant activity for the singer as she promotes her latest album and expands her live-performance schedule.

Ayra Starr has received two Grammy nominations in the Best African Music Performance category: one for Rush in 2024 and another for Gimme Dat, her collaboration with Wizkid, in 2025. Her career has also included collaborations with artists from different musical backgrounds, helping her connect with audiences beyond Nigeria.

African fans can expect a December return

Although the announced 20-date schedule focuses on Europe, the UK and North America, Ayra Starr has also addressed her African audience.

In her tour announcement, she indicated that she would return to Africa in December 2026, before the main international tour begins in January. However, specific African venues and dates had not been announced in the reports reviewed for this article.

The message offers fans on the continent a reason to look out for further announcements, especially those hoping to see the singer perform closer to home.

Tickets and what fans should know

General ticket sales would begin on October 16, 2026, following a series of presales. Fans can check current availability, venue information and any updates through Ayra Starr’s Live Nation event page.

With stops across multiple countries and cities, the Starrgirl World Tour is set to bring Ayra Starr’s latest musical era to a wider live audience. The run will combine the promotion of her new album with performances in established music markets across Europe and North America.

As anticipation builds, fans will be watching for updates on the December African appearances and any changes to the international schedule. For now, the tour announcement signals another important phase in Ayra Starr’s continuing journey from Nigerian breakout star to an increasingly global Afrobeats name.
